  1. Samuel

Excellent follow-up to The Mysterious Affair of Giles! I’m not much of a period piece or murder mystery reader, but this book was even better than the first one. It’s more polished in the characters and story telling. I liked the setup and easily got drawn into the narrative. The character development of Ellie is great, too; I hope there’s a 3rd.
